alternative method to the one password

alternative method to the one password

Suddenly your wi fi seems to have become incredibly slow ... that someone is taking advantage of your connection?There are several software applications and capable of detecting if someone is attached to your wi fi, but today we would like to concentrate on Wireless Network Watches a free program, able to take away all doubt.
Watches Wireless Network is a program very small, only 700 Kb that requires no installation. Just download it, extract it from the zip file that contains it to immediately begin using it.
The screen, simple and unambiguous, provides the results of all the devices connected to your wireless. In particular, it identifies a serial number MAC Andress, which is nothing but an identification code of the wi-fi, different for each connected device. Now obviously not all know the MAC of our devices, but also identifies Watches Wireless Network devices connected. In the example you see my computer, Francesca-Pc, this simplifies the recognition and allows you to understand at a glance if the connected device is owned or not.

And if I see that someone has stuck to my wireless?
Here's what I can do :
  • change the password , but, as you know, can be "cracked" with the special little program (Aircrack to name one);
  • block the MAC Andress .

The MAC Andress, as we said, is the identifier of your wireless and locking it, the router will identify only authorized devices. All codes MAC Andress of your devices, but you'll have to have them previously entered in a table that you entered manually in the router. Obviously you have to read the manual of your router, before you venture enterprise. In this way, even without the presence of a password, your router will always accessible (open wifi network), but it will never really work because it only for devices reported to the router with the MAC Andress. In short, a system of protection currently infallible which will also annoy those who try to take advantage of your network. A dispettuccio they deserve it, no?
